Croton-on-Hudson, NY Join us for a beginner-friendly sewing workshop with Lana Lanza and learn practical sewing skills you can use in everyday life. During this 3-hour workshop, Lana will guide you through two hands-on projects: ✂️ Learn how to hem a pair of pants Discover the basics of hemming and how to achieve a clean, professional finish. 👜 Create your own lunch-size tote bag Learn sewing techniques while making a functional fabric tote bag you can use every day. Please bring: A pair of pants you would like to hem Fabric for your tote bag project (optional) If you don’t have materials, samples will be provided. Sewing machine will be provided ** Lana Lanza is an Apparel Technical Designer with experience in intimate apparel and women’s wear. She has worked with brands including Vince Camuto, CiCi, and Ted Baker. She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and currently teaches sewing projects to students at Shames School in Tarrytown. Sewing is fun and easy! Whether you are a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn, create, and enjoy the process. 3-Hour Workshop 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm 15-minute break included Please bring a personal snack.
